As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, most people now have some immunity due to vaccination and/or previous infection. This partial immunity combined with available treatments has greatly reduced the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19. Considering these facts, our COVID-19 protocol has been updated as follows:
- Participants are urged to stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters, but proof of vaccination is no longer required.
- Use of face masks is optional.
- Do not attend a rehearsal, performance, or event if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have had a positive COVID-19 test in the previous 10 days.
- Do not attend a rehearsal, performance, or event if you have had any unexplained symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 (e.g., fever, chills, sore throat, nasal congestion, cough, or shortness of breath) in the previous 7 days.
- If you have no symptoms but have had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, do not attend a rehearsal, performance, or event for 10 days after the exposure.
- Before you resume chorus activities after infection with COVID-19, a positive COVID-19 test, close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, or unexplained symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, you must do a COVID-19 antigen test (with a negative result) on the day you return, to ensure that you are not contagious.
